Policies
These policies are in place to create clarity, respect everyone’s time, and ensure your session feels easy and stress-free.
Booking & Retainer
A $100 non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking to reserve your session date and time. Your session is officially confirmed once the retainer has been received. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the session.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel your session, please note that the retainer is non-refundable, as your date has been reserved specifically for you. Reschedule requests made with more than 48 hours notice may be accommodated, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session, same day cancellations, or no shows will result in forfeiture of all payments made.
Weather Policy (Outdoor Sessions)
For outdoor sessions, weather will be monitored leading up to your session date. If conditions are unsafe or truly unsuitable, I will be in touch to discuss rescheduling.
That said, a little rain, clouds, or mist can actually make for some really beautiful, romantic photos. Overcast skies create soft light, and light rain can add so much mood and texture to your images. Unless weather is unsafe, don’t let a little rain scare you. Sometimes the unexpected creates the most memorable photos.
Weather related reschedules do not result in a refund of the retainer.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time to ensure we make the most of your session. Late arrivals will cut into your scheduled shooting time, as sessions cannot be extended. If a client does not show up for their session, payment will not be refunded.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of photography services, refunds are not offered once a session has taken place. Retainers are non-refundable under all circumstances.
Editing & Image Delivery
Images are edited in my signature style to ensure a consistent and polished final gallery. I always want you to be 100% satisfied with your photos. If there are small changes or adjustments you would like made, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Raw, unedited images are not provided. Final images will be delivered within four weeks via an online gallery.
Image Usage & Copyright
All images remain the intellectual property of the photographer. Clients receive a personal use license to download, print, and share their images. Images may not be altered, filtered, or edited by the client. By booking a session, clients grant permission for images to be used for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes. Clients who wish to opt out of image usage must notify the photographer in writing before the session.
Relationship Changes & Image Removal Requests
In the event of a breakup or relationship change, images delivered as part of a completed session remain non refundable. By agreeing to these policies, clients acknowledge that all images created remain the intellectual property of the photographer and may continue to be used for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes.
Studio & Location Fees
Any studio rental or location permit fees are the responsibility of the client unless otherwise stated. Studio and location fees are non refundable once booked.
Safety & Respect
All clients are expected to act respectfully during sessions. • I reserve the right to end a session if behavior becomes unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive. • In these situations, refunds will not be issued.

By booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.
